RV-10 Completion Party

  If you missed the Gala   on Sunday afternoon . Peggy Frisbie put together a fabulous feast to celebrate Richards completion of his   RV-10 , an epic 20 year journey that has him grinning ear to ear as he has every right to!  (Ed note: You are never complete building your airplane, you just stop working on it!)  Yes Richard has a little bit more to do however he has flown of the mandatory flight time and the world awaits destinations of Richards choice!  The first order of business before the event was EAA 650 lead by chapter president John Spain, and a dozen or so cleaning both inside and out to the chapter meeting house, including a pressure washing the outside of the building.  Sunday afternoon  there were vans shuttling folks back and forth to Richards hangar for an open house to look over his airplane.  Many had seen or participated in the construction, bucked rivets, sewn upholstery, handed tools or provided that "third hand" etc, over...

Jerry is 81, this is no April Fool

As of today Jerry Harkin is now 81 years old! Yesterday he hosted his own party at the Chapter meeting house. Jerry is a Vietnam Veteran, (only been shot down once in his Huey) More recently Jerry received the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot award for his 50+ years in aviation.
